This Privacy Policy explains how Woodweller LLC, incorporated in California, United States (“Woodweller,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit https://woodweller.com and any pages that link to this Privacy Policy (the “Website”), submit a contact or partnership form, or otherwise interact with us.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Website and related business communications. It does not govern information processed under a separate agreement or notice, including any separate applicant or employee privacy notice that we may provide.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal information.
Information you provide
You may provide information when you contact us or submit a Website form. The general contact form may collect:
- your name;
- your company name;
- your email address;
- the subject or reason for your inquiry; and
- the contents of your message.
The partnership form may collect your name, company name, work email address, type of partnership, and the contents of your message.
Please do not send sensitive personal information, confidential trading information, account credentials, or information that you are not authorized to disclose through general Website forms or email addresses.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, Cloudflare and other service providers involved in delivering and securing the Website may automatically process limited technical and usage information, such as:
- IP address;
- browser and device type;
- operating system;
- referring and visited pages;
- approximate location derived from IP address;
- dates, times, and duration of visits; and
- security, diagnostic, and server-log information.
The Website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to obtain aggregate information about Website use and performance without placing analytics cookies. It also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect forms from automated abuse. For rate limiting, the application uses a hashed representation of an IP address rather than storing the raw IP address in its own application logs. The application does not log the contents of contact or partnership forms. Cloudflare may separately process technical request and platform metadata as part of its infrastructure and security services.
We collect or process this information through infrastructure logs, cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. For details, see our Cookie Policy.
Information from other sources
We may receive professional contact information from publicly available sources, business partners, event organizers, or people who introduce you to us. We use such information only where permitted by applicable law.
2. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Website;
- deliver contact and partnership inquiries to the appropriate mailbox and respond to them;
- manage relationships with prospective and existing business partners, vendors, and professional contacts;
- understand how visitors use the Website and evaluate the performance of its content;
- prevent automated form abuse, apply rate limits, and detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and technical problems;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal rights;
- comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, and lawful requests; and
- carry out a corporate transaction, such as a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not use information submitted through the Website to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or similar laws apply, we process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests: operating and securing the Website, responding to communications, developing professional relationships, and improving our content and operations, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent: using non-essential cookies, sending communications where consent is required, or processing information for another purpose clearly described when consent is requested. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Contract or steps before a contract: responding to a request or taking steps connected with a potential or existing business relationship.
- Legal obligation: complying with applicable law and lawful requests.
4. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Cloudflare, which supports Website hosting, Workers, content delivery, caching, security, form protection through Turnstile, and cookieless Web Analytics;
- our SMTP and email service providers, which transmit contact and partnership submissions to and store them in a configured mailbox;
- other service providers that support our communications and business operations;
- professional advisers, including lawyers, auditors, insurers, and consultants;
- affiliates, where necessary for the purposes described in this Policy;
- public authorities, regulators, courts, or other parties where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security; and
- a buyer, investor, successor, or adviser in connection with a proposed or completed corporate transaction.
Service providers may process personal information only for the services they provide to us and subject to appropriate contractual obligations.
Woodweller does not sell personal information for money. Woodweller does not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any controls required by applicable law before the change takes effect.
5. International Data Transfers
Woodweller and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which it was collected. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use an approved legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another lawful safeguard.
6. Data Retention
The Website application sends contact and partnership submissions by SMTP to a configured mailbox and does not store their contents in its own D1, KV, or R2 databases. Messages received in the mailbox are retained according to the applicable email-service and mailbox-retention settings and for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Cloudflare may retain technical request, security, and analytics information under its applicable settings and retention practices. Retention periods depend on the nature of the information, the reason it was collected, provider configuration, and applicable legal requirements. When information under our control is no longer required, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
- request access to personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of personal information;
- request restriction of or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- request a portable copy of certain information;
- opt out of marketing communications; and
- lodge a complaint with an applicable data protection authority.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. The Website’s consent banner allows you to select Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Settings. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and loads only after you consent to Analytics technologies. You can change your preferences through the Cookie Settings control in the Website footer.

The Website is intended for a professional audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through the Website. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us through our Contact page.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
