This Cookie Policy explains how Woodweller LLC (“Woodweller,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on https://woodweller.com and pages that link to this Policy (the “Website”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. Cookies can allow a website to function, remember choices, protect forms, understand usage, and support other features.

We may also use similar technologies, such as pixels, tags, local storage, software development kits, and server logs. In this Policy, we refer to these collectively as “cookies.”

2. Who Sets Cookies?

  • First-party cookies are set by Woodweller through the Website.
  • Third-party cookies are set by service providers or other third parties whose technology appears on the Website.

Third parties may process information collected through their technologies under their own privacy notices.

3. Categories of Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for core Website functions, security, network management, fraud prevention, accessibility, or recording your cookie preferences. They cannot generally be disabled through our consent tool because the Website may not function correctly without them.

Analytics technologies

Analytics technologies help us understand how visitors use the Website and how its pages perform. The Website currently uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which operates without analytics cookies. Its beacon provides aggregate page-use and performance measurements, including Core Web Vitals.

Functional cookies

These technologies remember choices or support user-requested features. The Website uses local storage to remember whether you selected the light or dark theme.

Advertising cookies

The Website does not currently use advertising cookies, advertising pixels, or marketing trackers. We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Hotjar, Segment, Mixpanel, or Amplitude on the Website.

4. Cookies Used on the Website

The application does not log form contents or raw IP addresses. It uses a hashed representation of an IP address for form rate limiting. Cloudflare may process technical request and invocation metadata—such as the HTTP method, requested URL, response information, and platform metadata—when the relevant Cloudflare logging or security features are enabled. Cloudflare may also use strictly necessary security technologies depending on the Website’s security configuration.

5. Your Choices

On your first visit, the consent banner offers Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, and Settings. In the preferences panel, you can manage the Analytics and Marketing categories and select Save preferences, Accept all, Reject all, or Cancel. Strictly necessary technologies remain active because they support core Website, security, and consent functions.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and loads only after you consent to Analytics technologies. Your Analytics-category selection controls whether the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon loads. You can reopen your choices through the Cookie Settings control in the Website footer.

You can also manage cookies using browser controls. Blocking all cookies may affect necessary Website functions. Browser instructions are available from the relevant browser provider, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari.

Where legally required and technically applicable, we recognize valid browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control.

6. Retention

Cookie and browser-storage durations are listed in the table above. Cloudflare states that unsampled Web Analytics beacon data is retained for seven days and that dashboard data is available for the previous six months; Cloudflare may retain aggregated data for longer. Other information derived from these technologies is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update this Cookie Policy when technologies, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version on the Website and revise the effective date.
